Homework Policy
Homework will be assigned several times a week and checked the following day it is assigned. An incomplete homework assignment is one where all the required examples have not been attempted or full work for the problem has not been shown. Any homework assigned from the textbook requires annotation of the reading and answering all multiple choice questions. Your child’s homework assignments and any information regarding upcoming tests and project deadlines will be posted on my website: www.sjcontreras.weebly.com. All homework must be handed in on time, and all assignments should be saved.
Late projects and late labs will be accepted. I deduct 5 points for every school day the project/lab is missing.
If your child is absent for any reason, the homework from the last day of class she or he attended will be due the day she or he returns to class. For prolonged absences, your child and I will create a deadline for makeup work.
